This afternoon Lux the doggo passed away after 13 years of being with us. I know it's cliche to say she was the best dog but she really was. Smart, obedient, always excited for anything, even the vets. She never hurt a fly, she was always just a big puppy. We all miss her

Day 1 of RGGM complete! Wild Metal Country is a baren wasteland of insanely steep hills and surprisingly smart enemies Picture is me just over 5 hours in to what I thought was the ending but is actually just me finishing the 1st of 3 worlds LOL Back tomorrow for world 2!

Grand Theft Auto 2 complete! Much better than GTA and London, I see why everyone was hyped for this one and told me it was better... but I'm still just not a fan of top down GTA/driving games. Also the score attack structure of the games is archaic and annoying in modern times

Day 15, and Oni (Hard mode PS2) complete! Ended on a 9 hour stream because I was determined to finish it today, but oh my god this game can be brutal constantly. The mix of instakills and lack of checkpoints really makes it tough to get through. Awful controls don't help either

Three things had to line up for the stewards to overturn this. 1. The rule never says the timing system is the final word. The speeding rule (Article B1.6.3a) just says there's a speed limit, 60 km/h at Monaco. It doesn't say "speed as measured by the official timing system". Compare the false start rule (B5.11.1), which spells out exactly which system decides whether you jumped the start. Because the speeding rule names no source, the only question the stewards had to answer was: was the car actually going faster than 60? Not: did the screen say so. 2. The timekeeper proved its own number wrong. Pit lane speed is calculated as distance divided by time, and the official distance for that zone was 77 cm too long, because the barriers moved this year and opened a shorter line. The timekeeper found this itself with a laser scan after the race. Redo the maths with the correct distance and Gasly was doing 58.7 and 58.8 km/h. Under the limit, both times. The stewards actually rejected all of Alpine's own evidence; what convinced them was the official system contradicting itself. 3. The penalty could still be undone. Gasly never served his penalties during the race they were added to his finishing time afterwards, and that's the only kind the stewards have the power to erase. A penalty served at a pit stop is gone forever; nobody can give you back time you spent stationary. Alpine then filed for a review within the 96-hour deadline (Article 14 of the Sporting Code), with the new evidence the rules require. They were the only team that did. That's why Gasly got his podium back and the other four drivers caught by the same faulty zone got nothing: all three conditions held for him, and only him.

Late update but I FINISHED! Riding in a peloton for 1st time was cool, did my fastest ever 40km at the start with it! It poured with rain the whole time Wind so strong it pushed me off the road A car ran over my bike computer And the last 30km was absolute hell But I made it!
Tomorrow I'm entering my first ever cycling "race"! I'll be doing the VELO New Forest 100 Sportive "Medium" route. Over 100km long! Never done anything like this before, but this is the easiest most local option to try something like this out!

Hello yes I heard Guild Wars 3 was announced. There are next to no details but from what there is it sounds like even more of a departure from Guild Wars (1), and even further beyond what Guild Wars 2 was, so I probably won't like it. I will await gameplay details/video however

The route is longer than I've ever ridden before, but: There's only 700m of elevation It's 100% road (I normally do gravel/mud) It's local It's supported (feed station!) I did the "short" 60km route on Wednesday as a test and I flew through it with my highest average speed ever!

Huge GTA:SA speedrun related news everyone! Frame Limiter is BACK ON THE LEADERBOARDS Now you don't have to guess who is playing with FL and who isn't! I hope this encourages a bunch of people to come back and do runs again! (it's being worked on atm so isn't accurate yet)

100% No Major Glitches and renaming No Arbitrary Jump In Script to No Arbitrary Script Execution (which is what the glitch actually is) are both huge good changes too! It was very silly that the only way to do 100% was to dupe and skip a ton of stuff.

This video by @JoshStrifeHayes about what it's actually like to be a Streamer is so unbelievably accurate and cathartic. If you're a streamer, you should watch this, just to feel justified in how you feel and the struggles you have. youtube.com/watch?v=jFcYHrQD…

In his 100 days of streaming he's experienced and expressed so many things that I've talked about in the past it's crazy. I spent the whole video shouting out loud "RIGHT!?!" I can't even give a list of the topics it's all just there, all of them, everything I've ever said.
