Organic vs. conventional farming, which builds soil better? A new study of 2,900 real farms found NO difference in soil organic matter. Why? Because the label doesn't matter β plant biomass inputs, nitrogen, rotation & tillage do. Focus on dominant drivers.

2026 Kick off the season with a Diesel and fert shortage, stupid input prices then an emu pig and mice plague to thin the crop right out, dry 6 weeks so all the early crops run up now we're flooding, wild first year for us cropping again π π

fuel filler mod we fitted to Miller nitro
hated the idea of climbing ladder twice to fill the sprayer daily, often at night. So we had some fittings added to the fuel tank when it was built. We fitted it all up ourselves for under $400
Itβs quick, easy, and much safer

@GRDCWest
Well I certainly got this week wrong... so much for May /June being the quiet time for wool sales. Always happy to be wrong when market heads further north. Business came rolling in last weekend and combined with low volume and despite a reasonably strong AUD, the market went for another nice run. It was right across all types of wool, merino, XB. Long or short. No sales in WA this week (normal this time of year) so we watch and see what the cowboys over east do π. Rain forecasts for the next few days are also looking good for the mighty west π€π€
There's a group heading to China next week to get a good taste of how actually committed our number 1 customer is to merino. As a 30 year veteran of visiting, watching and experiencing China's rise.. get ready to be inspired!
