This was Cuba yesterday. Every Western "liberator" stayed at a 5 star hotel with electricity. They also were just hanging at bars and restaurants or buying souvenirs.
This is not "solidarity". Just call it what it is: virtue signaling.
I was in Cuba by coincidence at the same time. I saw these people and knew it's trouble. So I left a day early.

Today I’m taking action to bring accountability to federal law enforcement like ICE. New legislation I’m announcing will require ICE to adopt rigorous training hiring standards, and for their agents to wear body cameras. These are best practices used by aw enforcement agencies use across our country. We need to bring transparency and accountability to ICE in order to make Americans safer.
