"If anything, the lack of a clear set of climate plans that might be considered in a post-Trump era just means there’s an even wider range of possibilities for businesses to prepare for," writes @JustinWorland time-magazine.visitlink.me/f…

More than anything, writing this story left me thinking about the social ripple effects. Climate change doesn’t need to end civilization for it to represent an existential threat to the texture of communities—by extension our social fabric. @JustinWorland time.com/7335166/la-wildfire…

I've covered climate at @TIME for a decade. This year, I spent much of my time reporting on the fire that destroyed my hometown—and my own childhood home The result: a story of LA's recovery—and a warning of what happens when systems break down time.com/7335166/la-wildfire…

Two things can be true at once Climate change doesn't cause disasters but rather is context that can make them more likely—along with mismanagement and other human error If only people would engage in a bit of critical thinking rather than serving partisan narratives
Of course TIME Magazine would finagle arson and the criminal negligence of Democrat politicians into a paean to the myth of climate change. They are so utterly ridiculous. The reservoir was empty, the fire was set by an arsonist, the hydrants were useless, you nitwits!

Sharing this week’s new @TIME cover: THE AFTERMATH. Nearly a year after the L.A. wildfires devastated his hometown, TIME’s @JustinWorland reports on the recovery efforts through multiple trips to Altadena, the Pacific Palisades, and the places in between where decisions are being made. His reporting captures how communities are navigating the realities of climate disaster response. Read the new cover story: time.com/7335166/la-wildfire… Photograph by Robyn Beck—AFP/Getty Images

“I consider it as a prism. Every public policy can be viewed through that prism,” he says. “You can measure public policy by whether it exacerbates or mitigates the crisis, and make decisions based on that.” Great article on @petrogustavo by @JustinWorland @TIME

Colombian Pres @petrogustavo has made big climate promises: vowing to end Colombia's reliance on fossil exports and weighing all policies through a climate lens. He calls his philosophy "decarbonized progressivism." For it to work, others need to follow time.com/7113585/colombian-p…
