This year for Field Day we will be at Branman Island State Park in the very South End of Sacramento County. Some will camp over. We reserved the group spots so, we’ll have plenty of room to operate! Hopefully not bother anyone else. Bring your fishing gear too!

There was a great turn out out on May 2nd for our WHAT IS AMATEUR RADIO? day in the parking lot of #HamRadioOutlet in Sacramento. Lots of radios and setups for people to look at and ask questions and maybe buy a radio or accessories! Sign up with the #ARRL_SV or just socialize.

Great turn out tonight for our monthly club meeting . Talked about upcoming events. Sierra Foothills Hamfest, What is Amatuer Radio and Summer Field Day. Kim , KE6RKX put on a very informative presentation of “Go Packs”. 16 members in attendance!

We came in 10th overall in #WinterFieldDay radio contacts! We were Camped at Beals Point at Folsom Lake, CA. for the weekend from Friday till Sunday. #HamRadio

While Allen, K6AGW was at a #POTA in Coloma,CA at the Marshal Gold Discovery Site. He had a Bald visitor come by to check out the radio set up. #HamRadio

Some of our members participating in a #POTA @ Folsom Lake US - 3432. We were in Foggy conditions with temps @ 43° F. Made 48 contacts in 2 hours. 10 meters was hopping!

The California State Fair starts Friday 7/11 at #CalExpo in Sacramento. There is an Amateur Radio Special Event Station that will be transmitting from the fair for the next 3 weekends of the fair . Check out K6C’s operating times and frequencies on their #QRZ Page #HamRadio
