The Moment We Realised Parenting Had Changed ... One evening in early 2025, we noticed something many parents are now experiencing. Our child had just received an Android tablet for Christmas, just like many children. They were sitting in the same room as us … But their real social world was happening somewhere else. It was - Inside their tablet. Talking with friends while gaming. Chatting and texting with other children they had never met in person. Joining voice chats. Playing online with people from different countries. At first, it seemed completely normal. But over time we began to notice small changes. ⚠️ Staying online later. ⚠️ Frustration after losing games. ⚠️ Mood changes after gaming sessions. ⚠️ Less interest in offline activities. Nothing dramatic. Just small shifts that made us realise something important. A big part of our children’s lives now happens inside their devices. As parents, we didn’t want to control everything they did online. We simply wanted to stay aware of what was happening in their digital world — make sure they are safe and help protect them if something changed. That’s the very main reasons we created the KD Monitor App for Android devices. As parents, we wanted to help other families stay aware of their child’s online world in 2026. 📱 The KD App provides clear daily insights reports into device usage, gaming behavior, and any potential online risks. It gives you a easy to follow daily report all about your child's device usage and what games and apps they are using. Because modern digital parenting isn’t about the impossible task of watching everything. It’s about using technology to stay informed and staying connected to your child’s world — even when part of that world exists online. If your child uses an Android device, you can learn more about the KD Monitor App by clicking the following link: Download the KD Monitor App to Your Child's Android Device Via Official Google Play Store Link. When does "a lot of time online" become too much? 🚩 When online spaces replace real-world connection, pay attention. For boys who feel disconnected, the #manosphere can feel like an answer. That's what makes it worth understanding. 🔗 Know the signs: unwo.men/Wrgg50Z8Vqk

The Most Important Online Child Safety Insights Parents & Guardians Should Know in 2026 … AI Is Now One of the Biggest Child Safety Risks Online. The rise of AI-generated content has fundamentally changed online safety. Children are now also exposed to: - AI-generated online & text scams. - Fake identities and social media accounts. - AI grooming attempts. - Realistic deepfake images. - AI-generated sexual images. - Emotionally manipulative AI chatbots. Major organisations including UNICEF and the World Economic Forum are warning that AI is increasing both the speed and scale of online harms. Recent UNICEF-backed 2026 findings revealed: At least 1.2 million children reported having their images manipulated into sexually explicit deepfakes in the past year in some regions this equates to 1 in 25 children. This means: - Ordinary photos from social media can be altered. - Children do not need to send explicit images to become victims. - Classmates or strangers can create fake explicit content using AI tools. Parents - Talk with your child about the importance of considering what images to post online. The KD Monitor Parental App for Android Devices in 2026. Link 🔗 in bio.

Different countries, one shared goal: making the internet safer for children & teenagers. For the first time, the G7 – 🇨🇦🇫🇷🇩🇪🇮🇹🇯🇵🇬🇧🇺🇸🇪🇺 – agreed on common principles to protect minors online. These principles build on existing measures, such as the #DSA: link.europa.eu/V3wHvG
Community note
Implementation of of these policies has lead to the policing and arrests of people for criticism of those governments with no statistical evidence of an increase in protections for minors and in fact an increase in exposures of private IDs and information. forbes.com/sites/stevefor… bbc.com/news/articles/… theguardian.com/media/2025/oct…
