Quite the stupid mistake and extremely disappointing to hear. We have amazing Storyboard artists working in Hollywood- that are fast and brilliant and understand the craft. He is so tone deaf doing this- a guy that makes millions taking away a job that pays 10-30k a film. This move and doing publicity about it- what a really stupid move, honestly. Shame on him. Does anybody else realizes how we are living a new and strong wave of AI propaganda in real time?, you can tell how they bought big and respected artists to put in big spaces where they can say “it’s just a tool” “it’s here to stay” and conformist garbage like that, it’s sad.

I think this needs to be a call to action for every aspiring filmmaker: DONT CAVE!!! they are going to offer money, sway your heroes to tell you it’s ok, hell they might even offer to make your film. whatever it is, STAND STRONG! make your own stuff and DONT CAVE!!

It takes literally seconds for me to storyboard a shot, there is absolutely no reason to need AI built on the stolen work of millions of artists to storyboard your vision, have some damn pride and respect your peers
