The Y8 students are writing song lyrics this term about something they love. Mr. Ehsan has modelled this by creating his own song lyrics and dedicating it to the English department β€ here is a snippet! @KSABSLT #songlyrics #puttingthefuninteaching

Our Y8 students today learning structural devices through song lyrics. Step 1, to identify the techniques, Step 2, to examine the effects, Step 3, to find their own examples in songs of their choice.

Hello, Iβm Miss White and I am new member of the KSAB English department. I love reading mystery and thriller novels with lots of unexpected twists which keep me guessing. My favourite novel is βRebeccaβ by Daphne du Maurier.

Great job Mr Eshan! Such a fun week at Barsha. In Primary, students have been busy trying to work out who the masked readers are and we all enjoyed the Book Quiz and Share a Story events this evening. Not going to lie though, I am most exciting about wearing my PJs tomorrow!

In the run up to World Book Day, our department had a "Spring-BAReak" challenge to celebrate our favourite texts. Here is our fabulous Mr. Ehsan (aka MC. Ehsan) dropping bars about Macbeth. We think he chose the wrong career! π€ππ it is fair to say he won! @KingsAlBarsha
