A USGA Green Section Award recipient, Terry was a man of quiet integrity. A leader by example. We need more men like Terry Bonar in this world.

It is with great sadness that that I pass along the passing of my good friend Terry Bonar. Terry was a mentor to hundreds in the turf industry and spent 5 decades at Canterbury Golf Club near Cleveland. Every time we talked we laughed about the same old stories. I will miss him!!

🏌 Perhaps because they are so visible, golf courses get a bad rap for being huge water users in our community. In reality, they use only about 6% of our area’s water. ⛳ SNWA’s Colby Pellegrino shows how golf courses have become so adept at water conservation.

It is a common misperception that golf courses and resorts use large amounts of our community's water. In reality, they use very little thanks to comprehensive conservation measures and our region's water recycling efforts.
