Another terrific one from @KShee11: GG2 is highly heterogeneous and many of these cases can continue to be followed safely with #activesurveillance. Caution re: high PSAD and PI-RADS 5. And definitely consider unfavorable histology differently. #GU26 @ucsfurology

🧬 Active surveillance (AS) ≠ one-size-fits-all for #ProstateCancer 🚨 New @EurUrolOncol data on Genomic Classifier (GC) in AS: 🔺High GC (≥0.6) → ↑ risk of major upgrading (GG≥3) 🔬↑ risk of unfavorable histology (IDC / cribriform) 🎯👀 Signals who may need closer surveillance, not overtreatment 🧠Risk-adapted AS matters 🔗shorturl.at/YHtQf @dr_coops @KShee11 @Decipher_VCYT @Davicioni @PCFnews @UrologyTimes @renalandurology @MRoupret

In @EurUrolFocus, we show that grade group 3 (GG3) prostate cancers are heterogeneous. Unfavorable histology (EC or IDC) was strongly associated with recurrence after surgery, independent of % pattern 4 and CAPRA-S, and may improve risk stratification. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/4037….

Incredible state-of-the-art talk by @UCSFUrology @SimaPorten at #EAU25 on TARs, the novel bladder drug delivery system with great initial trial results. Loved her mnemonic for the Sunrise trials: odd numbers (1, 3, 5) for NMIBC and even (2, 4) for MIBC — simple and brilliant!
