If rising 2 is ever made (it won't be) I'd like it to be a Gray Fox story between the events of Zanzibarland and Shadow Moses about him becoming a cyborg.

Before Sputnik and the rise of radio navigation, it was thought that spacecraft would rely on optical navigation (looking at planets, terrain, stars) for position and attitude determination. One pre-Sputnik concept was to have cameras tracking notable, bright objects as shown.
