We propose that Greta had two important roles: political icon & role model. As political icon, she inspired people to join the protests and feel more motivated, solidary and collective. As role model, she especially attracted young women who saw her as an example to follow. 2/2

My brilliant colleague has written very interesting piece about labor identity
How are cohesive labour movements created? In this @ActaSocJournal piece, @JenJansson finds that labour leaders actively managed identity formation in the Swedish case, but internal education was also critical for creating cohesiveness.
