The High Court in Delhi has refused 7 bail applications for Jagtar’s NIA cases.
Despite no evidence being produced in the last 7 years, the courts have refused 5 applications on a technicality and 2 on merits due to offences alleged.

We need to reject this individualist mindset that pits young against old and public sector workers against vulnerable pensioners.
We have the resources in this country to ensure people are paid a decent wage and our elderly can retire with dignity. We lack the political will.

It comes as no surprise that the House emptied just hours after the judge announced the publication of the phase 2 report.
It shows how many of those within the political elite are a part of the disregard, indifference and incompetence that contributed to the deaths of our 72.
