Keiser University Jacksonville nursing students recently returned from a meaningful service-learning experience in Belize, where they combined healthcare education with community service.
Working alongside local healthcare professionals and community leaders, students supported free health clinics, provided health education, conducted home visits, and gained valuable hands-on experience while serving local communities.
Led by Professor Lida Francoeur-Brown, MSN, RN, the trip offered invaluable lessons in healthcare, compassion, cultural awareness, and service.
We are proud of our future nurses and their commitment to making a difference both locally and globally.
