@Kelly_Siman grew up on a farm in rural Ohio and didn’t think a career in science was for her. Along the way she met multiple amazing female scientists (and supportive men that advocated gender parity) that made her realise she, too, could become a game-changing scientist. 👩🏼🔬🌳
This was such a fantastic experience to gain a deeper understanding of the federal grant writing process - and definitely couldn't have been in a more beautiful place! Highly recommend esp for grad students, post-docs, and early career PIs!
