It's not "them".. It's him, i.e. President Boko. And according to the Constitution, it is his prerogative on whom he wants in his Cabinet. His Cabinet is his Team, unless someone has a criminal record or is grossly incompetent, the President chooses his Cabinet at will.
It took them 2 years to appoint Dikoloti as Minister of Agriculture? Why?

If you're an unemployed Lawyer, you don't deserve to hold that title. It's like being an unemployed Gardener 🤷🏿‍♂️ There's no such thing. You wake up & eat what you kill. You look for "business" not employment. In Jozi, Lawyers be milling around Police Stations & the Courts 24/7!
I wonder if there are unemployed lawyers in Botswana waitse

Your math alone shows your delusion. The UDC is approaching 2 years in Office as of November 2026. Simple math 😆 It would be a waste of time & energy to then engage you on socio-economics, national debt & the road to recovery. The YDF alone lost P603 Mill for crying out loud 🤷🏿‍♂️
Inherited yes. But Batswana voted for solutions, not excuses. Almost 3 years in, 'we inherited it' wears thin when hospitals still run out of meds and GDP is still contracting. Debt is the diagnosis. What is the treatment plan bo comrade?🤷🏽‍♂️

This would be a non-issue if they just become mandatory upon the Child's Birth 🤷🏿‍♂️ It's really simple..
I personally don’t have a problem with paternity tests. The issue for me is what the request itself implies: that you don’t trust me and believe I’ve been sleeping around. For many women, that’s the part that doesn’t sit right. One of the pillars of a relationship is trust. If it’s not there, then what’s the point? So yes, you can do the test. But after that, I don’t think I’d want to stay in a relationship where trust was already gone.

Very few Southern Africans have Careers. They have jobs, motivated by potential income. A Career is something you live and breathe, it defines you as an individual. I can't remember the last time I saw a back and forth conversation between Accountants here 🤔
Pakuita mamwe maDegree atakaita chokwadi PakaLacker Career guidance 😂😂 Like vanhu vaiti wakaita degree reAccounts watopedza to only realise you will need Three more courses to become a CA After becoming a CA you need 10 more years experience to start making good money 😂😂😂

I don't think you understand how Tolls work. The companies mentioned are building the toll gates. Private institutions don't collect tolls. The Govt collects tolls which will be used to maintain roads. Toll gates are a common phenomena around the World. Bots is late to the table.
Replying to @Official_UDC_Bw
How does Inter-Civils put a toll gate on a road that it didn’t construct nor finance? What are they being paid tolls for? What costs are they re-couping for? This is extortion beyond measure. Ba tsentse legodu la tautona le tile go gopela Batswana le Batswakwa.

In the 1950's, Black Africans didn't travel/go on vacay, their kids went to rural public schools. Most Families lived in the village whilst the Father worked in the city. No Tashas or Rockets dates & new clothing was a Christmas treat. That's the life you want? Rather get a Maid.
He told me he wanted a "traditional woman" who knew her way around a kitchen and kept a peaceful home. I told him that sounded lovely, and asked if he was prepared to provide the traditional 1950s salary that allows a woman to stay home and focus on those things. He stuttered and said, "Well, in this economy, we’d both obviously have to work full-time." I just laughed and said, "So you don't want a traditional wife. You want a second income that also doubles as a maid. I’m an investment, not a charity project. Find someone else to subsidize your lifestyle."

If you're Elon Musk, why not? But if you're an ordinary middle class individual, I believe its actually detrimental to your offspring. "Most" kids in single income households are denied quality education, exposure & opportunities. To give your kids the best, dual incomes are key.
I don’t get people who glorify being a bread winner. it's not a blessing. it's a curse. Nothing cute about being the only person who works in your family

There is nothing spiritual or ancestral about a traditional marriage. It is merely a ceremony joining two Families together. If there's no real Family to unite it becomes obsolete. Young Women shouldn't feel threatened by the whole "you'll need us for Lobola one day" narrative.
My father's family didn't want to give me his death certificate so I apply for my bursaries in Grade 12, I cried and told my teacher and she told me I can make a duplicate till today they don't talk to me, when they found out I made a duplicate. My mum keeps saying I will need them when I go get married for my traditional wedding and I really don't give a fuxk

I concur. How bout we ask: 1. How much revenue hotels & lodges saw? 2. Retail outlets & restaurants? 3. Street hawkers selling memorabilia, flags & Bots branded sports attire? Let's ask how much visibility the country has gained from the publicity & those beautiful medals.
They are starting, politicians already asking how much was spent and whether that money could have been used for medication instead… but can we just take a moment to celebrate and be proud of our athletes? 🇧🇼🔥 For once, let’s enjoy the achievement without turning it into a political quagmire. These athletes put in the work, carried the flag high, and gave us something to smile about. We can have those financial conversations another time….today is for pride, joy, and celebration.

WRONG! No Democracy in the World trusts The Executive Arm of the Government! America, The UK, etc, are always at loggerheads with their People, e.g. Jeffery Epstein. Those societies work because of Due Process, The Judiciary! Where Politicians step away & the Law takes precedent.
Forward moving societies are built on trust. Due process is worthless in any society when it is not built on trust. Remember we don’t have any comprehensive legislation that classifies classification and automatically declassifies some information after a stated time period…

I think there is a serious myopia in Botswana. Full transparency can come in the form of gazetting the Report or in the form of Civil & Criminal proceedings. Batswana prefer gossip, naming & shaming as opposed to due process & proceedings like @LeboSpeaks rightfully stated.
Replying to @LeboSpeaks
The promise was full transparency which created the impression that all of the report will be made public. If the forensic audit’s findings are backed by tangible and concrete evidence, then why not make it public? From an institutional trust perspective, we have seen this before

Naming & shaming will appease social media & grapevine appetites, but NOTHING will be recovered. It is naïve & amateur to believe that "tangible & concrete evidence" cannot be disputed in a court of law. Case in point: Bellarmine Mugabe. BDP still has power. @Lishulo @LeboSpeaks

Makes complete sense! If the Man was Zulu we'd find this completely normal. That's a Wife right there!
A South African woman, married to a Chinese national, has indicated that her children will be raised speaking only Mandarin and not isiZulu, her mother tongue. She explained that, in her understanding of Zulu cultural practices, a woman and her children adopt the husband’s culture after marriage; consequently, she regards her children as Chinese. She further noted that, despite this, local communities may not fully perceive the children as Chinese. However, she believes prioritising Mandarin will support their integration, particularly as she does not anticipate the family residing in South Africa long term.

😆😆😆 Don't be sensitive, it's just comedy! Why must we approach everything with a village mentality, "apologise to Batswana" 😒 Batswana love them an apology 😆😆😆
I can't believe someone is going to book this nonsense to come & perform his comedy in 🇧🇼Botswana. He needs to apologise to Batswana .We are a peaceful nation & we barely have any issues against South Africans. Looking for viral moments cos you aint "poppin" is wild @MphoPopps

Bellarmine #Mugabe is on his way to the OR Tambo Airport. He is being transported by Home Affairs and the IO who was on the case. He paid R600 000 fine to avoid the imprisonment. His cousin, Tobias remains in prison. He was sentenced to 3 years. His mom is believed to be in Singapore. Where will he be heading? @eNCA

📍Spot on, we definitely assess the individual and if we go on to shoot our shot it's without a doubt because respect is far from present. You're a floozy..
It’s offensive to me if a man knows I’m taken & still tries to shoot his shot. its disrespectful not just to my partner, but to my values. It tells me you think I’m the kind of woman who would entertain another man or be foolish enough to stay where I’m being taken for granted. Don’t recommend trying that with women like me.
