Sounds like some would rather a ‘28 1st than Verse. Not me. Draft picks are unknown. You already know Verse is a terrific young player who fits the Browns timeline. They now have the 2 most recent Defensive Rookies of the Year and the ‘27 1st is trade capital to get QB. Win-win.

Ahhh. So the Browns are going to get their QB of the future with the 32nd pick? Seems unlikely.
Because the #Rams’ goal is to have the 32nd overall pick the next two drafts and to not have to completely bottom out at the position if/when Stafford likely hangs it up following the 2027 season.

Browns already stocked up a ton of volume in young players the last 2 drafts. Being forced to take a DE and QB next year would suck. Now they can move forward and just focus on getting the QB
