.@SecRollins on efforts to combat and eradicate the New World Screwworm: We have moved the testing from Iowa to our brand new facility in Texas. The upcoming Edinburg, TX facility will give us about 300-400M sterile flies. We opened a new dispersal facility that allows us to better disperse the flies that are currently being born in Panama.

For too long, we offshored critical manufacturing—including key agricultural inputs like fertilizer. That is why we are investing billions to onshore fertilizer production back to the United States. I’ll soon be in Louisiana breaking ground on what will be the largest ammonia and fertilizer facility in the world, alongside more than 90 other projects already underway. This is about strength, security, and independence—we cannot rely on foreign inputs to feed our nation.
