Close brush with death today. Biking south from Fort Totten Transfer at 9am (major bike route at peak time) when a @DCDPW trash truck sped past; inches of clearance, and definitely over the speed limit. Was shaking the rest of my commute in. @DDOTDC @WABADC

We’ll post about them here. Our neighbors are innovative, but they’re hurting, and as long as we have stable paychecks, we’ll support them as best we can. As much as you’re able, please do the same. Individually, we can’t save these businesses, but we can help. #BeAHelper x/2
Warren is capable of making her own decisions, Paul, but thanks
I am endorsing @BernieSanders for President and encourage my fellow @ewarren supporters to join me. As a pledged delegate candidate for Warren, this was not an easy decision. But supporting Sanders is now the only path to the big, structural change that Warren champions, 1/

Not a good week for DC bike shops. We're still here, but we're riding the same multi-use paths that the other shops did and see the same stresses. We can make guesses about individual situations, but would rather provide some comments about supporting small businesses like ours.

On my way to the United Nations. Today I’m speaking in the General Assembly at the Climate Action Summit. This is such a crucial day, world leaders are gathering at the UN in New York to decide on our future. The eyes of the world will be upon them.

The true price of a murder.
Oil prices getting lower. Great! Like a big Tax Cut for America and the World. Enjoy! $54, was just $82. Thank you to Saudi Arabia, but let’s go lower!

Merricks Garland or Bush v. Gore. Take your pick, Senator
When it comes to confirming judges and counting votes, Democrats are amazingly consistent – The law is NO obstacle to the outcome they seek.

We are witnessing an abhorrent violation of international law & human rights in #Gaza. 38 confirmed dead, including 6 children, with close to 2000 people injured. Many are reporting injuries to the head and chest. Over 500 injured with live ammunition. This must end immediately.

Evidence collected over many years, obtained from many locations, indicates that the power of Prayer is insufficient to stop bullets from killing school children.
