What does this tell us? What we’re doing is not enough. We need to look at all the factors that might be impacting student learning - including children’s mental health, teacher shortages, and adequate professional development (6/7).

There’s no one answer. But one-offs are no answer either. We have to focus on supports that are accessible, sustainable, and scalable to meet our students where they are, for as long as they need it, to help them succeed. (7/7)

Agree. And we actually know what to do. Start by listening to school leaders, teachers, families, and students who are exceeding expectations in student learning during pandemic bit.ly/3VeGFMc

I've been frustrated with the apparent obsession with analyzing the effects of remote vs. in-person learning. It's time to help these students get back on track. nciea.org/blog/can-we-stop-o… @andrewdeanho @derekcbriggs @claitusis @NCIEA @s_e_schwartz @cgewertz @minnichc @Khuff8
