It’s a rare achievement that signals exceptional talent, resilience, and deep technical mastery. Caltech is tiny (undergrad enrollment around 1,000) but extraordinarily influential. A lot of people missed on this girl & @chathamusb got a steal. McKeesport 2026 @ryennthomas has been retooling her swing since Late March at PVS and she put together her best session yet yesterday. Today: 🚀 High academic young lady with elite athleticism & turbo speed (led WPIAL in Steals twice). Now putting the hit tool together nicely.

What % of transfer portal entries are actually driven by inexperienced agents (or “advisors”) overpromising NIL and rev share money? The explosion of agencies in HS/college baseball the last 10 years is wild. Last year, only ~90 players in the entire country signed for $1M in the MLB Draft. One analysis put average Power 4 baseball revenue sharing at ~$365k per team — roughly $10,700 per player on a 34-man roster (we all know there are exceptions). So no… not every high school or college player needs an agent (“advisor”).

I once told a talented athlete that the position they loved was not their future , the measurables said so, plainly. The family was not happy. But I would rather they hear it from me than learn it from the bench. Playing an athlete where they truly excel is not an insult. Fit over fame. It is the difference between belonging and hanging on.
