When Notre-Dame burned in 2019, the world stopped. Today, Russia damages Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, a monastery nearly 1,000 years old and older than Notre-Dame itself. A thousand years of history deserves the same attention, the same sympathy, and the same protection.

Elon Musk is set to become a trillionaire within the next few months and a Karl Marx quote comes to mind. "One day there will be trillionaires, but you will still have nothing." Amazing powers of prediction.

The Day That Changed the War On June 10, 2022, the world’s first successful combat use of an FPV drone took place. “Tourist,” “Schweiger,” and “Baghdad” — fighters of the SIGNUM battalion — carried out that historic mission. We all remember the footage that has since become part of history: “Fourth house. Blue doors.” That flight became a point of no return — an event that changed the course of Russia’s war against Ukraine and transformed the rules of modern warfare. Because of it, Ukraine now has a dedicated branch of unmanned systems forces, thousands of destroyed enemy vehicles, hundreds of thousands of eliminated occupiers, and, most importantly, countless Ukrainian lives saved. We thank those who dared to be first — and those who continue the fight every day. Quoting Sternenko here.

In the 1970s, displaying Ukrainian symbols in the USSR was risky. But Ukrainians abroad kept their identity alive. The Winnipeg Cossacks proudly wore their Ukrainian heritage for all to see. 🧵 1/5 ⬇️

Today, with the full-scale war now lasting as long as World War I, it’s worth remembering how russia began it. 📽 These 49 seconds show what russia did to Ukraine in just the first three months — a relentless campaign of missile terror against an entire nation.
Today, the full-scale war has lasted as long as World War I. Millions of lives shattered, thousands of children killed, entire cities destroyed. Yet the world still watches russian terror with far too little urgency. The price Ukrainians are paying is unimaginable.
