At present, rainwater has accumulated for approximately 200 meters along the stretch, creating hazardous conditions for road users. This problem occurs repeatedly during rainfall and poses a significant risk to motorists, especially two-wheeler riders. Prolonged water stagnation can conceal potholes and road defects, increasing the likelihood of accidents and vehicle damage. Additionally, waterlogging often leads to disputes among road users. When vehicles pass through the accumulated water at high speed, the splash can affect nearby motorcyclists, pedestrians, and other commuters, resulting in unnecessary arguments and altercations. Such incidents can further contribute to traffic congestion, creating additional challenges for traffic management authorities and emergency services. Therefore, I sincerely request the concerned department to inspect the location at the earliest, identify the root cause of the recurring waterlogging, undertake the necessary rectification work, and ensure immediate drainage of the accumulated water to prevent accidents and inconvenience to the public. 22-Year-Old Woman Murdered in Bengaluru, Boyfriend Arrested Bengaluru A 22 year old woman was murdered on Sunday morning within the #Bellandur Police Station limits of #Bengaluru. The deceased has been identified as Ati Hangma Subba, a native of #Sikkim, who was working as a receptionist at a local salon. Police said she was living in Doddakanahalli with her partner, Purba Lepcha, a native of #Darjeeling employed as a waiter at a city hotel. According to the DCP, Whitefield Division, the couple had arrived in Bengaluru about a month ago and were living together. On Sunday early morning, a heated argument broke out after Lepcha allegedly suspected Subba of having another friend. In a fit of rage, he reportedly slit her throat with a kitchen knife, killing her on the spot. Bellandur police have taken the accused into custody and registered a case of murder.
