It takes away only the shield from accountability for feminists, misandrists, and women who abuse. Because a minister for men would be highlighting how common it is. A few, well established bigots stand to lose a lot from such a person and role.

As a woman, I was greatly embarrassed by the two female panelist’s on this programme. The idea of a Minister for Men takes nothing away from us women. All the rights we have fought for will not be taken away. The issues facing men are many and the number of suicides shames us all. To have a fair and balanced society we need to protect ALL within our community. By protecting both men and women we will then start to effectively protect our children. This is not a sum zero question I thought these two women badly let us all down.
Well done to @GeoffNorcott for raising the issues which men face on BBC Politics Live. Although, I am disappointed that he appeared on the show to discuss the specific issues men face only to be hounded about how women have been oppressed. Men are notoriously reticent when it comes to ‘opening up’, for fear of being seen as weak, feeble & being emasculated. This is why suicide is the biggest killer of men under 50. Men are also more likely to be falsely accused of sexual assault. Mr Norcott is correct that there are specific issues that men face that warrant specific attention, which is why I urge Prime Minister @RishiSunak to create a Minister for Men.

The audacity of claiming to be ‘trauma informed’ while knowingly re-traumatising victims of abuse shows a complete dismissal of ethical consideration as well as a lack of self reflection!

When I see quotes of "teachers overheard boys say something bad about women", I ask why they never seem to do anything. I only teach sports afterschool, but if I hear a kid say something wrong about any topic, I'll talk to them privately about it. But not the teachers? 🤔

#WorldMentalHealthDay “Men who have better mental wellbeing see masculinity as something that makes them want to protect women [and] that makes them less inclined to be violent towards women” So why do some people blame domestic violence on masculinity?centreformalepsychology.com/…

This is Sangrur-Bhawanigarh Highway. No lamps on this road are functional during the night. Infact alot of major cities in Punjab donot have street lights working during road putting lives of citizens in danger.@AamAadmiParty @BhagwantMann @CMOPb @Laljitbhullar can do a gud job!

Instead of spending tax payers money on advertisements that "work speaks, action speaks", of actual work is done for the welfare of Punjab & Punjabis, that will be more appreciative.

Rural women play a critical role in ensuring the world can be fed - yet they continue to experience systemic racism, structural poverty & discrimination. Investing in their well-being, livelihoods and resilience is essential to achieve gender equality & progress for all.
