My last take for this series, it feels like a breath of fresh air. The conversations they had, things that are so important to know about each other before committing to one another. They didn’t wrap this series like a cliche love story. They showed the real messiness..So good!
Never enjoyed watching a series as much as I did this. The raw conversations, the vulnerability, navigating the chaos of two human beings, how love is not linear. The mess, the unfiltered moments..as a lover girl, my heart is pleased. 10/10
Nothing recharges my energy like a few days alone without human interaction…especially if you’ve had back to back weekends for months without some alone time…
In most urban areas, if cops arrest you and you've got dreadlocks, you're accused of all manner of sorts and forcefully shaved. There's so much politics around hair in Kenya. School kids aren't even allowed to have them.
Nviiri and Bensoul being the only Kenyan artists to address the locphobia in this country saddens me. we need to get more vocal about this. why are we hating on dreads so so much
Nowadays most shows esp US shows feel like the producers just prompt AI for a script. So nonsensical…few reasons why it’s so addictive to rewatch old shows..Recommend UK series worth watching ( probably watched all of them though 🤭)
Least fave thing to do: Jeans shopping, because now the shop attendant and I are both about to get frustrated. There needs to be a size between size 12 and 10, for babes with thick thighs and slightly smaller waists..
One thing about kujituma and having a great work ethic is that the universe has no choice but to respect the effort. So things will fall into place, it’s only a matter of time ✨
The only way to explain this to Sakaja for him to understand is have him imagine he is at a club, the music is bumping and there is a waiter with a glass of whisky every 6-7 minutes.
a bus every 6-7 minutes is the entire secret of good transit. no schedule, no app, you just show up. the kids have been screaming the answer at us for over a year. six seveeen. headways. they're talking about headways
