Lucca Report 🇮🇹 The last dance with GOD Enel. Saturday was a really tough day. After reaching a 6-1 record, I ended up finishing 6-3 and missed Top Cut. It was hard to take, but thanks to the support of my friends, I found the strength to keep going. On Sunday, at the Treasure Cup, I finished with an impressive 9-1 record. Unfortunately, luck wasn’t on my side once again, and I ended up in 9th place, just outside the Top 8. It hurts even more considering that I beat the player who finished 4th, and my only loss came against the player who finished 2nd after starting the event 6-0. Despite everything, it was still an amazing weekend. Luck may not have been on my side, but I’m fortunate to have great friends and people who always support me, and that’s already a victory in itself. Report Barcelona 🇪🇸 The same fate as Bonn tournaments… Regional 3-3 drop ❌ Treasure Cup 9-1 ✅ 6th place again😭😭😭😭😭 At the regional I played with 1 Divine Departure and 13 one-drops. I regretted it and it cost me the tournament. Whereas in the Treasure Cup, with the second one, it went much better. Report Regional Lille 🇫🇷 “2^ place” It was a very intense tournament, where I got to test myself against some truly amazing players. I really enjoyed this format and I think it allows players to express their strengths at their best. For example, Enel could be played in different versions: aggro/explosive, midrange, and control. I chose the control version because I believe that, in this game, having board presence is essential. Many of you asked me why I decided not to include Holly in my list. I’ll explain the reasoning behind my choice by looking at the pros and cons. Pros: Holly is very strong when drawn early in the game, especially on an odd curve, and basically against every match-up. It allows you to play more aggressively and it protects its partner Ohm, turning it into a 6k body. Cons: Holly loses a lot of value in the late game. Also, it takes away space from the deck’s consistency (especially regarding 1-drops), which in a very long tournamen as I expected it to be — could have been crucial. As I often say, my strategy was to prioritize board presence, so consistency (and removal card combinations) was fundamental. I want to thank my team @project7x_ , the entire Brescia community, and all the people who supported me. A special thanks goes to @YonasOPTCG , who supported me after what happened between us: psychologically, it helped me a lot. I’d like to apologize again to @YonasOPTCG . I was very tired after an intense match and I made a mistake with the DON!! assignment. I’m not trying to make excuses: I know I shouldn’t allow myself to make these kinds of errors, especially in such important matches. That said, I want everyone to know that I’ve always respected Yonas, both before and after the game—not only as an incredibly talented player, but above all for his humanity and sensitivity. In fact, as soon as he realized the mistake, he was the first to tell the judges it wasn’t intentional, and he didn’t even want to take the win that way. Despite everything, he still let me have the match and wished me good luck for Top 4. I’m truly grateful for his attitude and the sportsmanship he showed. Thank you Yonas, truly: you’re a great example both in and out of the game.
