The Sharks are 100% still rebuilding. They’ve were horrible in most metrics, got buoyed by a horrible Div/conference, and have an abysmal record when Macklin doesn’t do all the offence.
They’ve still improved this year but are still way off it

The sharks aren’t rebuilding anymore. They have all the pieces they need other than a D man. When you get gifted the 2nd pick after missing the playoffs by a few points you have the luxury of drafting for need.
