Access to play has reduced greatly over recent years and there are very real concerns over the dominance of social media in children's lives. Including a Play Strategy in this Bill would be a cost-effective way to reflect the wants and needs of children in the community. 3/3

Labour-run councils like Ealing are leading the charge to transform playgrounds and put children at the heart of local plans. Along with changes to planning policy, I welcome Labour's 3.5% increase in council funding which will allow councils to expand and sustain playgrounds.
