WEB leaders @LarsonMS did a fantastic job leading our 6th graders in conversations and activities that emphasized the power of questions! Leaders broke down the difference between open and closed questions, and discussed beneficial times to use each. LOVE this mentorship!! 💙🤍

This is my favorite reflection activity. On the first day of school, I have students take a picture with this "I am a math person" frame and at the end of the course, I have them reflect on how they have grown in their mathematical abilities. Like, read this reflection 😭

Every day I start class with a question as a way to build community. On Fridays we give a positive shout out to each student. This move has been so impactful for everyone - I’m amazed at how much I’m learning about them and love seeing them share more each day! @LarsonMS

This just came up with my students yesterday!! Students kept saying “I’m so confused.” I responded with, “I’m so glad! You must be learning!!” They then asked if I could make a giant sign for the room to remind them of this🤩🥳 #Resilience #GrowthMindset @LarsonMS

We had so much fun in math 7 tasting ratios of 3 different drink mixes! Our taste buds deceived us so we had to use math to find the sweetest drink... But we realized they were actually the same recipe! @LarsonMS @IllustrateMath
