CPI a bit hot but nothing dramatic. Jobless Claims tomorrow.
Meanwhile on Polymarket there’s only 13% probability of a 25bp rate cut in 2026.
I’m starting to think there’s a real asymmetry to play here…

Token capture value is what is going to shape the next retail adoption wave of crypto.
hyperliquid shines a very bright spotlight on how much better tokens can perform if they don't have horrendous tokenomics
uniswap, jupiter, maker, solana, aave, lido
it makes me so sad to think about what could have been, but if hype continues to win then it makes me happy for a potentially bright future
success gets replicated and i really hope we see a new era of tokens launched that walk in hype's footsteps
true wealth redistribution through a token is fulfilment of the crypto promise, it is us proving that there is a better way than the blackbox of tradfi
token and team alignment is so important and yet so rare, i dream of a future where this is not the case

I just dumped my entire $HYPE and $NEAR position, I will explain why in my essay "Reality Test" dropping next Tuesday.
TLDR:
- Higher energy prices due to Iran war and inventory restocking
- 3 Mega AI IPOs between now and early Q3
- Prediction that Trump goes anti-AI to win mid-terms for Republicans
- I think highs in mrkts will happen btw now and September
- Time to take profit, and two-step in beefa without worrying about my positions

What do ZEC, INJ, and NEAR have in common?
They don’t have established institutional products that allow big finance to fuck us over.
That’s exactly why they’ve been the top performers for the last 3 months, while ETH, BNB, and BTC are getting absolutely destroyed.
