✍️🏽 Something I want to share: Haitham is one of the most kind-hearted and special people I’ve met on this platform. He is not just “someone from Gaza” on your timeline. He is a real person with dreams, memories, fears, a beautiful family, and unimaginable pain that no human being should have to endure. He's a university graduate from Beit Hanoun whose entire life was destroyed by this genocide. His home was bombed, and since October 2023 he and his family have been displaced five times across Gaza; from Beit Hanoun to Nuseirat, Rafah, Khan Younis, and Deir al-Balah, surviving bombardments, hunger, fear, injuries, and constant uncertainty. His daughter Kiraz was born during heavy bombing while they rushed through the night to the hospital surrounded by shelling and fear. Later, his wife nearly lost their second baby because she got injured, the constant displacement, exhaustion, hunger, and the lack of basic necessities before little Tamam was thankfully born safely. Alhamdulillah! Today they are living in a torn place while food, clean water, medicine, diapers, and baby necisities have become extremely scarce and expensive because of the ongoing blockade. What touches me most is that despite carrying all this pain himself, Haitham still checks on others, spreads kindness, and even supported me months ago when I was feeling very much down 🥺 even during moments when I disappeared and stopped replying myself, Haitham still kept writing to check on me, while he was the one living through unimaginable suffering himself and when he was the one needing help the most. I am not afraid of death at all, nor do I fear my end in this life. I am only afraid for my family and my children… afraid that life will keep devouring them day after day, without anyone there to protect them, to ease their hunger, to heal their pain, or to drive away the fear that sleeps and wakes with them every single minute. I lost my father when I was young, so I know very well what it means to carry the responsibility of an entire family on your shoulders at an age when you were supposed to run, play, and live without knowing fear or pain. Life no longer means much to me… But my children are all that remains of it. And if we have not been able to save them until now… then when will we? And how will we, when our own blood has become the fuel that keeps this fire burning without end? We have become bodies consumed in a war with no end, numbers added to news reports, and victims of a genocide unfolding before the eyes of the whole world, while everyone stands watching as if nothing is happening. I am not only saddened by what is happening to us, because I know that one day we will all die… Here, death is no longer a possibility، it has become a part of life. But what truly hurts me is this world… This world that watches death, hunger, and genocide, and then simply continues with its day as though nothing happened. I am sorry… And I am even more sorry… That humanity did not die within us—it died in the world itself.

The “June 26 Movement” has called on the citizens of Gaza to use violence against the resistance on the eponymous date, bolstered by Fatah spokesman in Europe Jamal Nazzal, PA embassy in Spain employee Louay Abu Shab, Fatah activist Amin Abed, and social media commentators based abroad such as Amjad Abu Koush, Ramzi Harzallah, Ali Shreim, and Mustafa Asfour (all of whom are based in Belgium, with the exception of Shreim, reportedly currently in Ramallah).
