Did you know if you go to an adult hospital in an emergency with a small person who happens to have an intellectual disability they may not have a sats probe to fit. If your young person has any issue that needs monitoring this is dangerous. @HSELive @NPQD_CHB @stjamesdublin

There is huge discrimination in Ireland against people with disabilities, intellectual & physical, in healthcare, education, employment, housing, advocacy, in every way possible. Access, transport, toileting, parking spaces, disability allowance & indirectly carer’s allowance.

In the end, the grieving father could only say, “I wish I were the journalist instead of you.”
The Government Media Office in Gaza reports that the number of journalists killed by Israel in Gaza has risen to 207, following the death of journalist Mohammed Mansour.

Today the Irish government announced an increase in #plr payments. Of course any increase to the fund is welcome, but when you consider that the pool for PLR in 2009 was €350,000 and is just €240,000 today you can see why @WritersUnion_ie consider this derisory.
