Road salt can help melt ice, but it harms aquatic life and corrodes our infrastructure, which ultimately pollutes our drinking water. Consider focusing on shoveling and only using road salt as a last resort. To learn more before tonight's storm:

Local historian Greg Prichard will lead the bike tour, which will be about 6 mi. long and will take about 2 hours. Includes moderate hills and many stops to admire Wayne’s great landmarks.

Stop! Before you reach for the hose to clean up an oil spill in your driveway, think about where you are pushing those chemicals. Instead, use an absorbent material to soak up the oil, and then sweep it up to dispose of it safely.

There is a plan to remove 480 mature trees for the new LMSD playing fields. We are urging LMSD & LMT to find an alternate plan. Mature trees provide invaluable stormwater/ carbon capturing functions that LM cannot afford to lose.

NEW STUDY: Microplastics Found in 100% of PA Streams
A study released by @PennEnvironment revealed that #microplastic contamination was found in all 300 samples the org collected from 53 #PA waterways, including the #Delaware & #Schuylkill Rivers.
