The Supreme Court made official what we’ve already known. These misguided lawsuits never belonged in state court. #LouisianaEnergy @LMOGA
The first and only opinion of the morning is in Chevron USA v. Plaquemines Parish, LA. It's from Justice Thomas and is unanimous, 8-0 (because Justice Alito was recused). supremecourt.gov/opinions/25…

Carbon capture is creating the kind of economic opportunity that creates jobs and keeps our kids here in Louisiana. But that only works if we build upon the pipeline infrastructure Louisiana is known for. 🔹 Pipeline construction brings high-paying jobs. 🔹 Operating infrastructure attracts more investment to our state. 🔹 Long-term carbon storage brings increased global demand for Louisiana-made products

What powers Louisiana? It’s more than just the energy we produce. It’s the people, the work, and the commitment behind it. Oil and gas supports thousands of jobs across our state. They help fund our roads, schools, and first responders. They keep our homes warm, our lights on, and our economy strong. Every day, this industry moves Louisiana forward, reliably, responsibly, and with a focus on the future. We don’t just power the state. We help it thrive.
