Maybe Puerto Rico should be admitted as a State if that is what they vote for? Great news on the life front.

We survived the Libertarian Convention. Full of unnecessary drama and adults acting like children. But the Caucus had a successful and rejuvenating meeting, electing officers and endorsing candidates. Most importantly, the effort to reintroduce abortion into the Platform failed!

I’m just shocked Fox News had Massie on the air.
Thomas Massie just declared: “They’re panicked.” “We’re probably gonna pull this off.” “The President’s done 11 posts about this race in the last 72 hours.” “They sent the Secretary of War.” “I’m running against an AI candidate without the I.” “He’s created AI ads.” “He does his social media posts with AI.” “And he hasn’t been to a single debate.” “He skipped all eight of them.” “He’s terrified of debating.” “There’s no enthusiasm for him.” “I did three events yesterday.” “Every one of them had more attendees than the Secretary of War’s event.” “I’ve got US Reps from Congress coming to my district and campaigning with me.” @RepThomasMassie @MassieforKY

Massie is also a pro-life hero! Vote Massie today!
I truly believe that Thomas Massie is Gen Z’s Ron Paul. Trump and his cronies have lied about and scapegoated libertarians this whole term. They gutted DOGE, empowered the technocrats, failed abolish the NFA, cut-spending, or audit fort Knox, and are captured by foreign nation states. Massie exposed the Epstein Class, voted against the Big Beautiful Bill, voter against kill switches, and wanted to see through DOGE cuts, unlike his Republican colleagues. For that Trump is backing his primary opponent in the most expensive lobbyist backed primary IN HISTORY. Whatever the results are of today’s election, know this, the deep state is scared, and there is a political purpose to going after Massie, to keep the ideas of liberty suppressed as long as possible. Don’t let the bastards win.

If you are a delegate to the LP National Convention, get ready to stay for Platform business on Monday, Memorial Day, and vote down this atrocious re-introduction of abortion into our national Platform. See details attached.

As a delegate to this year’s Libertarian Party National Convention, I joined many members from the Christian and Pro-Life caucuses in making it clear, both during a Platform Committee meeting and through member surveys, that we vehemently oppose adding abortion language back into the national platform. I have been a member of the Libertarian Party since 2013, though for many years my involvement remained limited because the abortion plank conflicted with my conscience. When that plank was removed in 2022, I was genuinely encouraged. I expressed that support by purchasing a lifetime membership and becoming actively involved at the local, state, and national levels. There are several proposed platform and bylaw revisions I support and intend to vote for at convention next week. However, if the majority of the delegation votes to add abortion language back into the platform, I can no longer continue associating my name with the party. Beyond alienating many existing members, abortion policy has been returned to the states, making a national platform position unnecessary. Likewise, liberty belongs equally to every human being. A platform dedicated to individual freedom should avoid divisive identity-based ideology and culture war language. We do not need race or gender ideology language to defend liberty. Expanding the platform in ways that divide people will not strengthen the movement, it will weaken it. If you are a delegate, I urge you to vote “no” to these proposed platform revisions.
I'm hoping that the National Libertarian Party delegates reject all platform and bylaw proposals that get presented in Grand Rapids. The platform is not a marketing tool, but woke leftists on the national platform committee just want to virtue signal with it and turn the LP into a pro-abortion/condem bigotry/pro-trans organization with their proposals. I reject the idea that the National LP platform needs to include language about gender identity, specifically add back in pro-abortion rhetoric, and trying to add back "bIgOtRy Is IrRaTiOnAl AnD rEpUgNaNt" retardation. If you are going to Grand Rapids, REJECT ALL amendments to the platform or bylaws.
