Florentin Brecu, Cogeca Vice President, introduced the first workshop on the role of farmer cooperatives on ensuring the sustainable and competitive sector thought innovation and investment in sustainable practices. #FarmersCongress24 "Cooperatives have proven in many ways that they are key enablers for the necessary transition and in providing added value to their members. Together, we can always move faster than alone."

Joining in the discussions on how to aid cooperatives to deliver more innovation and investment in sustainable farming practices are @CEMAagri Stefan Top and @EuroseedsEU Cesar Gonzales with the perspectives from key industries delivering tools to farmers.

A panel to dive deep into the innovations across Europe already put in place by different cooperatives, with examples from 🇮🇹🇸🇪🇬🇷 and ☝️how to help these solutions scale up and become more accessible for all farmers. ➡️Many challenges need to be still addressed, including the knowledge and training necessary for the adoption of new technologies as well as access to finance. #FarmersCongress24
