Yet, when the matter eventually comes before a court, the judicial officer will naturally ask for evidence to support the allegations. Returning to the example of a Document Management System (DMS), files can be categorized as Red, Amber, or Green within the system itself. 📍A Red file, for instance, should not be exportable without authorization. Additional controls such as multi-factor authentication can ensure that a file cannot leave the system without approval from the designated file owner. 📍Similarly, an Amber file should not be permitted to leave the organization through a personal email account. It should only be transmitted through approved corporate communication channels. 📍These controls significantly strengthen confidentiality and reduce the risk of unauthorized disclosure.
