We quantify deep/viscous subduction interface rheology by integrating field observations, numerical models, and experimental flow laws. This provides us new insights into viscosity and strength variations along subduction zones.

I'm currently working on massive panoramas of our skies. They're more work than traditional astrophotography images, and are forcing me to learn a lot about the craft.
Here's a small segment of one of them, showing the neighboring Andromeda galaxy. The color is 100% accurate.

This is hilarious. Aldi created an Amazon-like “grab and go, zero staff” store in the Netherlands.
Except no customers enter b/c to do so, you need to register *with a credit card*. The majority of the population in the Netherlands doesn’t have a credit card! They have debit.
