We have written to @ScotGovFM asking that any inquiry into the role of money in politics includes lobby groups funded by the Gov which campaign to promote the policies of the governing party.

There should not be one rule for the Scottish Parliament regarding women only spaces and another for everyone else, the law is the law. Let’s use our time as MSPs on changing Scotland for the better, not making points about internal Parliamentary issues.

Even among students (exposed to so much propaganda and peer pressure on this issue), a decisive majority disagree with males using women's changing rooms (and vice versa). Great to see the question asked really clearly by @HEPI_news (so often not the case in polling this topic). Interesting given that universities' failure to uphold EA2010 seems to be driven by fear of (perceived) student opinion. Yet this polling demonstrates that most students quietly disagree with their activist/NUS peers. I'd love to see further breakdown of the numbers, e.g. Russell Group vs other students @nickhillman

Scottish Trans has produced a template letter to ask MPs to reject the EHRC code. Why is taxpayer money being used to send emails to MPs asking them to disobey the law? A law that @scotgov @JohnSwinney claim to accept? This email tool costs £250 per month plus the cost of the dedicated website!

I’m old enough to remember when robust debate was part and parcel of university life, then we would all go off to the student union. Neither students nor staff should face abuse or aggression for engaging in debate, or listening to ideas with which others disagree.

Very embarrassing from @S_A_Somerville who replied to @MeghanSCUP saying the West Lothian school ruling was about "different legislation" to the Equality Act. No, it was found to be indirect discrimination under the terms of EA2010. It's clearly amateur hour at Holyrood!

Not a single MP identified anything the Code got wrong about the law in the Commons statement on Monday. There was just lots of whinging about the fact they didn’t like the law. Well, you’re MPs. You’re in a better position than most to campaign to change it. I and other feminists will oppose you every step of the way though.
