1st Labrador Winter Games experience is over. One of the most rewarding and enjoyable sporting experience I have ever taken part in. I have gained even more respect for traditional sports, lifestyle and culture. Taking home the cup was just icing on the 🎂!

Thrilled to represent Rigolet at the #LabradorWinterGames. With a strong finish and encouragement for our own and all other 19 community athletes, Team Rigolet was recognized as the most spirited team! As a key pillar of the games is friendship, this was humbling.

Lab Winter Games happen every 3 yrs & include games, like seal crawl & 1-ft high seal kick, unique to northern communities. A toy seal is used in both games which require amazing strength and focus. Met CA’s powerlifting champion Lab athlete Bronson Jocque fr Postville. #congrats
