Cpl. Brad Rumbolt and S/Sgt. Sandy Goudie were happy to show our friends at CBC Labrador the basics of the Labrathon last week.
A former gold medallist, Cpl. Rumbolt walked the camera crew through the four tilts, showcasing the traditional skills, strength, pride, and spirit of Labrador that the event honours.
Our Labrador District RCMP officers were proud to take part this year’s Labrador Winter Games as volunteers, athletes and fans. Thank you to all of the organizers, competitors, volunteers and supporters who made this event a success.

Cpl. Brad Rumbolt and Cst. Ed Power are on-site at the 2026 Labrador Winter Games this week, welcoming athletes and inspecting rifles before this week's competition to make sure the events run safely and smoothly.
Cpl. Rumbolt is also part of the Games’ organizing committee (and the record holder in the Labrathon!). You’ll see both of these officers — and many more from our Labrador District RCMP — this week as they volunteer at events and cheer on our athletes.

On Friday, March 14, 2025 RCMP Mary’s Harbour were invited to participate in the annual Junior Sports Meet Labrador Jamboree hosted by St. Mary’s All Grade School. Events consisted of Northern Games and a Mini Labrathon, where youths displayed their outdoor skills.
