Alright I'm not calling the ETH bottom but we're going to do all of this again in 2027 so I just bought all the ETH to fund the Uprising.art initiative for next year too. It'll look different, maybe more patronage, but the amount ($100k) and idea of supporting more artists is the same. I've loved how all of this has gone, far exceeding my expectations, and I'll do an update soon. Here's the txn for my haters 🤣🫂: etherscan.io/tx/0x5cf068003b…
I'm going to spend $100k this year buying cryptoart from artists trying to get established. It'll come out to around 1E per week. It's not nearly enough but hopefully it helps. @musicalnetta, who is way better at this than I am, will be helping me. Here's how it works:

Finally there’s a bed in the gallery downstairs Eyes Half Open @goki_muramoto | Curated by Sofia Thiệu D’Amico Nguyen Wahed, 1 - 22 June 2026 Descending into the lower gallery, Muramoto’s Imagraph (2020–) takes the form of a reclining headset that projects images directly onto the viewer’s closed eyelids. Seen from afar, the installation resembles a speculative science-fiction apparatus: perhaps a consciousness-uploading device, a spirit docking station, or a machine designed for automated dreaming.   SUPPORT: Agency for Cultural Affairs, Government of Japan; Japan Arts Council; CG-ARTS; Inami-Monnai Lab, The University of Tokyo; NEW INC, New Museum; WAN: Art & Tech Creators Global Network / Agency for Cultural Affairs; Japan Creator Support Fund

Some are here for the Swamp, Others(for the)Side. I'm here because in 2020 I stanned @beeple who led me to back @mfigge in 2022 and as it happened, @yugalabs. As an investor there's a joy I get from backing dreamers and doers; it's a value I can't count and I can't spend. I may wear my unicorns on my vest, but the joy of backing brilliant artists/founders and seeing them truly cook is the real halo. Money comes and money goes, but knowing that you got to help someone move the world a little bit...that's golden. @BoredApeYC means much more than we think; @jeannievu and I spend a lot of time in the digital art world (@lacma, @rhizome), and it's clear that culture is the ultimate moat of humanity. What @mfigge and his incredible team are building will be the Bifrost of the digital culture realms and it's a joy to be a small part of its history. Personally can't wait for the BAYC Asia tour - that's a whole lot of people about to be re-introduced to Apes. There are 46 golden apes, but this Angel Investor Ape tells my story. See you in the Clubhouse. *Grateful to @grailsotc for making this happen.

Manfred Mohr in 1977: "For me, works of art are answer to precise, possibly even intelligent questions. If I ask a precise question, I would like precise answers. That’s why I chose the computer…" From IBM’s Ideas, Experiments, Results, 1977-79.

Manfred Mohr for Art Basel: "The early programmers or mathematicians and scientists, they wanted to visualize something, either a mathematical formula or anything, and they drew lines. I'm not a scientist, and I'm not a mathematician. I was a painter." Digital Masterpieces: From Code to Canon, debuting at @ArtBasel's Zero 10, Basel (June 16 – 21, 2026).

This morning, reflecting, I'm walking amongst giants. All of you artists. Reading War and Peace. Kutuzov remarks, “Everything falls into place for the man who knows how to wait… There is nothing stronger than those two old soldiers - time and patience.” Our time will come. I've got receipts, on-chain ⛓️. I was here. I was paying attention.

🌵❤️ I see inspiring exhibitions around the world, but rarely find time to share with others. So today, I'm posting photos of the incredible Maurizio Cattelan survey we saw last summer at the Serralves Museum in Porto. Each room in this gorgeous mansion on their campus was devoted to a singular work by Cattelan. Many of you here know Cattelan’s Comedian (aka The Banana). ✨Beyond this iconic/memetic work, Cattlelan reveals himself throughout his oeuvre to be the quintessential conceptual trickster, political commentator, and above all a highly gifted ruminator on the role of Powers and the Sacred. From death to politics to the Pope. ✨His works are chillingly, even painfully beautiful. I was especially blown away by his recreation of  Sistine Chapel, which I must say, I enjoy more than the original because one can actually get up close and examine the magnificence of each painting. I hope you enjoy!

On 4 May 2026, Palazzo Diedo presents “Strange Rules”, a new interdisciplinary project curated by @matdryhurst and @hollyherndon, @HUObrist with Adriana Rispoli The exhibition introduces the concept of Protocol Art, a practice that engages with the underlying rules that dictate how culture is produced, distributed and perceived in the digital age. Algorithms, artificial intelligence models, platforms and technological infrastructures are brought into focus not as neutral tools, but as structures that actively shape meaning and experience. “Strange Rules” shifts attention from the artwork as a fixed object to the artwork as a process, unfolding through instructions, interactions and systems. Across Palazzo Diedo, the project takes the form of a dynamic environment, where installations, performances, screenings and research activities redefine the relationship between art, technology and collective participation. The project will transform the historic architecture of Palazzo Diedo into a dynamic laboratory of ideas: -The Ground Floor features a major new collaborative commission by Mat Dryhurst and Holly Herndon in partnership with SUB. This level will function as a vibrant hub for time-based interventions, including lectures, performances, and screenings. Visitors can also explore the unique installation that runs for the duration of the exhibition. -The First Floor presents a series of site-specific installations and selected video works that expand on the themes of Protocol Art, creating a direct dialogue with the activations occurring on the ground floor. -Second Floor - Palazzo Diedo's Black Box presents a selection of video works that probe the intricate layers of contemporary society, its entaglement with technology, and the invisible protocols quietly underpinning them. 📆 4 May – 22 November 2026 📍 Palazzo Diedo, Venice

Moments of the Unknown is a film to celebrate humanity. Every day for a year, I created ten-second Super-8 portraits of people across all 7 continents. To show that, as humans, we are one. My mission is to spread peace, love, and friendship through the lens of life. The soundtrack honors the Voyager Golden Record, curated by Carl Sagan and launched by @NASA in 1977. A portrait of Earth sent out to the stars. Half a century later, that record is still traveling outside of our solar system. This artwork is its echo. A message once aimed at the stars, now returning home. Happy Earth Day 🌎
