Mmm, they are just escalators though, even if they are shiny and new.
A stunning scene from Beijing West Railway Station, where the stacked escalators appear like a ā€œwall to the skyā€ — a surreal angle that highlights the scale of the infrastructure and the beauty of the design from this unique perspective.

Hahahaha …Councils don’t want fireplaces because they are bad for the planet … then force builders to spend Ā£1,200 per house installing fake PLASTIC (made from oil) You couldn’t invent this level of stupidity 🤔

Thoroughly nasty pieces of work.
What happens when councils recruit low IQ violent idiots because more brown people are needed for DEI?

There is always Net Zero that could be abolished because getting rid of our 1% carbon contribution is not going to make a big difference any way.
Our Armed Forces cannot defend Britain on empty promises and delayed plans. Keir Starmer’s Defence Ministers resigned as his plan falls short. Their warnings are extremely serious. I’ve written to the PM offering the support of my MPs to vote to cut welfare to fund defence.

The threat from radical Islam is not just terrorism. Islamists seek to subvert our society and our democracy. But what we have is worth defending. We have to fight back.

In Manchester, England, Muslims were loudly blasting the Quran on loudspeakers. A British woman stepped up and said, ā€œThis is England, a Christian country! I don’t want to hear the Quran!ā€ For just saying that, the police arrested her on charges of causing a public order offense. They handcuffed her and dragged her away.

'Now, once more, I must ride with my knights to defend what was, and the dream of what could be.'
One of the best things about having lots of rain in June is that you can often feel you've stumbled onto the set of Excalibur, which obviously is the greatest King Arthur film ever made. The trick is to find a suitable stick thin enough to fit in your belt loop but sturdy enough to draw in preparation to do battle.

The Muslim majority council of the town of Harrow in the UK has begun hiring Muslim morality police they call ā€œcivil enforcement officersā€ to accost, fine, and harass native British people. ā€œWe’re going to make sure you can’t work any more and earn no money.ā€

The Green Belt around London is under terrible pressure. "Horsiculture", aggregate extraction & speculative purchases ("land banking") have all preserved & increased its biodiversity over a century. Now, all that richness risks being swept away for ever. .
Even more incentive, then, to preserve our wet woodlands and dependent freshwater tributary inflows. As you know, Denham Lock Wood SSSI (@Colne_Valley) has come under considerable illegal development (ie no prior survey by legal statute), negatively affecting net biodiversity and internal streams in situ. The total decimation of important northern peatland drainage basin, overlooking Carp Lake. The impermeable dam has entirely negated freshwater inflow for 18 months and counting. A current topographical survey is critical. I appreciate your staff must come up with funds, further, they have reviewed my documented evidence of environmental destruction. However, as I advised, such funds can be footed sooner by Harrow Angling Society, those whom profit financially by the giant constructed platform and its current lease. This is a very pressing matter, Tony. @NaturalEngland
