We enjoyed the Big Wheel Bash tonight on the State Fairgrounds. Raising money for the much needed college scholarships for Greenbrier Valley students. The Artisan’s Barn is a great venue.

Earlier today, State Treasurer Larry Pack attended the Meadow River Rail Trail Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in Rainelle, WV and discussed the importance of expanding recreational opportunities in the Mountain State. 🚴
The trail connects the Town of Rainelle with scenic views and plans to expand all the way to the Gauley River!

The Congresswoman is spot on. I agree that the folks deserve not only a guarantee that the hospital stay open but a new hospital facility with expanded services. This is vital for the community.

Every American, regardless of where they live in our country, deserves access to quality medical care. With talks of a potential sale of Welch Community Hospital resurfacing once again, one thing is absolutely crucial: the hospital must remain open, and the people of McDowell County and the surrounding area must have access to quality care.

State Treasurer Larry Pack got a tour of the Chief Logan Recreational Center today with Rick Abraham who has been instrumental in the funding and operations of the facility, state BOE President Paul Hardesty, and State Senator Rupie Phillips.
The center serves the community as a gathering place for swimming, gym, softball fields, basketball, and more.
