I don’t know if media just wants this movie to tank or what. I’ll be honest, I was skeptical at first. He-Man was my favorite as a child and this movie was better than I thought. The CGI was well done. My son even enjoyed it. Read somewhere they compared it to Gaurdians of the Galaxy and I’d say that is spot on.
MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE is now tracking to be the biggest bomb of the summer, causing Amazon MGM to lose over $100 million.
It opened to $54M globally ($29M domestic) on a $170M–$200M budget.

This team was a lot of fun to watch this season. The most wins since 2000 came against one of the toughest schedules in the state and in one of the toughest districts. This senior class left its mark on the program and has a lot to be proud of.
