Yesterday, UAFS Assistant Vice Chancellor for Athletics, Recreation and Wellness, Curtis Janz, received his National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) 2025-26 Athletics Director of the Year award at the NACDA & Affiliates Convention in Las Vegas!
So incredibly thankful for my family and honored to be recognized by NATYCAA/NACDA for AD of the year. Blessed to work with amazing coaches and staff in supporting our incredible student-athletes at Johnson County Community College! Go Cavs!!

MIAA administrators and communicators were in Las Vegas earlier this week for the 2026 @NACDA and @CollSportsComm conventions.
Two MIAA representatives received on-stage recognitions as Arkansas-Fort Smith Assistant Vice Chancellor for Athletics, Recreation and Wellness, Curtis Janz, received his 2025-26 Athletics Director of the Year Award from NACDA, and Emporia State Associate Athletic Director for Media Relations, Don Weast, received his 25-Year Award from the CSC.
