Man I'm sad to hear about Stacey King's passing. He was such a big part of Chicago. Quick Story: I had him do a cameo for my brother's birthday in 2020. I asked him to talk trash to my brother because we were going to play 1:1 basketball on my brother's birthday. I figured he'd do the typical 30-60 second video. Nope. Stacey talked forever. Had a bunch of funny trash talk for my brother. Asked to see video of the game afterward, asked for us to come down and say hi if we were at a game. Told us how he was feeling about the upcoming season. Just went on and on telling stories and his thoughts on the Bulls. And I think it was cheap like $20 bucks. That's my one experience with Stacey. I think it speaks volumes as to why he was so loved in Chicago. Gave his time, had so much energy, loved the Bulls, loved Chicago. Thinking of his family at this time.

I live three blocks from the site of what would be the Arlington Hts Bears. That would be cool but I think it would be cooler if the Monsters of the Midway stayed on the lakefront where they belong, playing in the cold, the snow. Getting there is a pain & there should be more seats but the Bears should play where they've always played, in a football cathedral on Chicago's lakefront where a spaceship landed in 2003.

Bears. Bulls. Blackhawks. Cubs. White Sox. Fire.
And Chicago stands alone as the only city with teams from all five major leagues PLUS two MLB franchises playing inside the city. 🌆🏆
