4/ We’ve been tinkering with (but never shipped) saving actions to the Home Screen since @LaunchCenterPro was first released in 2012, and started work (with @flarup) on the all new Icon Composer in early 2018. It’s so fun to see all of this coming together in 2020!

1/ The great Home Screen customization craze of September 2020 sent us right to work on @LaunchCenterPro. With today’s update you can now create Profiles that save many custom icons to your Home Screen at once. And they don’t launch through Shortcuts! (except Apple’s apps 🙄)

Double tap to open @LaunchCenterPro is the closest you‘ll get to have somewhat of an @alfredapp experience on iOS.
It doesn’t even open the Shortcuts app to redirect! Straight to LCP.
LCP is now an ubiquitously invokable dashboard to quickly perform actions. Thanks @drbarnard 👌

Bad news: Apple removed Quick Action Widgets in iOS 14 (see photo).
Good news: We’re working hard on Launch Center Pro 4.0 with some very big changes, new features, and home screen widgets!
Meh news: We bit off more than we could chew over the summer with 4.0. Will ship “soon”
