Taylor Swift watched #ToyStory5 in February and requested to write an original song. A "decoy version" of the movie had to be created to protect the secret. "Turns out, Taylor is a huge ‘Toy Story’ fan like many of us. She actually requested to see an early version of then film and she wrote the song and then asked us if we wanted it and we said ‘Uh, yes! Writing this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time. Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once.
