One of the things I've been thinking a lot about recently is the tension between rest and getting things done.
I wrestle with this all the time.
I want to make an impact.
I feel called to lead.
But I also know I need to slow down.
Jesus Himself withdrew, abided, rested.
The tension you feel between productivity and peace?
It’s not a sign of failure.
It’s an invitation to listen.
So here’s what I’m learning:
✅ My value isn’t in my output
✅ Real fruit comes from abiding
✅ Rest isn’t the enemy of productivity—it’s the foundation of it
